Duties & responsibilities

  • Manage the demand and supply planning for all products for a pre-determined amount of restaurants geographically located
  • Ensure the ordering system is operating with the most accurate information needed to generate consistent accurate order proposals
  • Ensure order proposals assure supply whilst consistently minimising costs
  • Ensure checks and controls on data integrity and performance are maintained and closely monitored. Investigate and remedy, where needed, any deviations against KPI’s on stock transfers, order modifications, late stock additions, forecast accuracy and order proposal accuracy
  • Working with the Advanced Forecasting system (AFS) to investigate and answer restaurant queries on the department helpdesk system within the agreed service level agreement (SLA)
  • Develop relationships and communication channels with restaurants, franchisees and others as necessary. Educating restaurants on the use of bespoke order system) and proactively demonstrating restaurant improvement. Ensuring the necessary restaurant engagement targets are exceeded
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of systems, tools, people and processes that support the overall Restaurant Supply function
  • Ensure planning models, forecasts, ordering parameters and stock projections are sufficiently accurate to assure supply with maximum efficiency and minimum cost
  • Develop relationships and communication channels with restaurants, franchisees, and others as necessary to ensure the ordering system is operating with the most accurate information and understand/action possible constrained supply situations needed to generate an accurate order proposal

  • Plan for known peak & special trading periods
  • Alignment with the rest of the Restaurant Supply team
  • Deal with restaurant queries within the agreed period/SLA’s

Technical competencies

  • 1+ years’ experience within a supply chain/logistics function
  • An understanding of replenishment/forecasting processes
  • Strong Microsoft skills, in particular Excel
