Job summary:

Guide, support and develop process improvement tools in conjunction with the needs of Operations, Supply team and the customer.
Major duties & responsibilities: Develop, implement and maintain reports/dashboards in Excel, COGNOS and Power BI to drive intelligence and facilitate decision making for both internal and external customer Working closely with the Supply Development Manager and Technical Analysts to develop, improve and report on key performance indicators both internally and externally Work with the current team to implement and develop further the Supplier portal / communication tool Perform root cause/investigations were necessary to challenge processes and support improvement implementation Liaise with Supply Planners to ensure optimum stock holding and ordering parameters are adequately set\ Interact with a remote support team whilst assisting in the development of the supply and demand solution and providing user acceptance testing To support value add projects and business change initiatives as appropriate Support with JDA forecast knowledge across the Supply team, including assisting with the development and maintenance of guides and best practise documents Customer analysis – Providing reports and analysing data for the business and customers business General exploratory analysis/ad-hoc reporting, providing technical support across the business
Profile:

Essential: Degree educated or similar qualification in a technical discipline Experience of managing an operational end to end supply chain Innovative approach, forward thinking, able to think ‘outside the box’ and question ‘what if?’ Process driven with evidence of change management and continual improvement Problem solver, analytical thinker, able to articulate the case and engage people to support to achieve the goal Strong organisational skills, ability to work independently, self-starter








Technical competencies:

Essential: Systems – MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Cognos report creation and use Power BI creation and use Demand & Supply Planning understanding

Desirable: Market level forecasting / planning experience Demand & Supply Planning experience Knowledge and/ or experience of manufacturing and production environments CIPS / CILT qualified SQL knowledge VBA knowledge Experience in HTML / CSS scripting Microsoft Access Skills
