Duties:

  1. Role/Departmental Specific
  • To represent our client to increase and retain revenues at all levels
  • To represent the organisation at conferences and seminars, and in meetings and briefings with government and other partners and stakeholders, as agreed in advance.
  • To attend and contribute as requested to monthly team meetings to share successes, pipeline activity, to gain support from team, and to be aware of core and new activities that can then be promoted to wider audience
  1. General Internal Responsibilities
  • To work in harmony with the organisation’s vision and values.
  • To promote and ensure compliance with the organisation’s policies, including Health & Safety, Environmental, Dress Code and Diversity Policies.
  • To work in a collaborative and independent manner to support.
  • To attend and participate in performance appraisals.
  • To manage and undertake training / professional development as necessary and as organised
  • To use and update the CRM system daily. A monthly BEM report will be required after month 5
  • To work as part of a team, supporting colleagues and communicating effectively with all.
  • To encourage and support innovation throughout the organisation.
  • To work in the most resource efficient and effective manner.
  • To act as an ambassador for the organisation at all times.
  1. Delivery of services and programmes
  • To develop and maintain alliances and partnerships with other organisations where this will help us deliver services and programmes.
  • To ensure that services and programmes achieve contractual requirements, as well as wider objectives.
  • To ensure that a responsive and high-quality service is provided to Chamber Members, businesses and stakeholders.
  • To contribute directly to the delivery of the programmes and income generating activities, as per specific targets
  1. Objectives & Targets
  • To grow and retain membership in a designated region within Herts contributing to revenue stream including sponsorship.
  • To arrange by appointment and attend an average of 3 weekly face to face meetings
  • To attend minimum of one external monthly networking event, to act as ambassador ensuring the right profile of opportunities are sought
  • As part of a group/team target, to attain a member retention rate of 85% of existing members
  • To support the generation of an average attendance at Business Events
  • To actively use social media channels such as Twitter and LinkedIn to promote the clients, in line with the organisation’s Social Media Policy
  • Chair meetings in your area per month (this will be agreed in advance).
  • Work with the Event Sales team to secure 2-3 Event Sponsorships per month.
