Role Description: Focus on the UK market: enterprise, channel and opportunities with Systems Integrators and partners to increase market penetration and incremental revenues in line with individual sales objectives.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Provide regular management updates on the progress to plans
  • Prioritise sales activities to ensure maximum productivity and drive sales growth
  • Meet and exceed sales targets within company profitability thresholds
  • Identify and make contact with enterprise new business opportunities
  • Identify, recruit and on-board new channel partners within assigned territory
  • Identify and on-board new enterprise customers in line with sector focus
  • Manage sales activities of partners to generate revenue.
  • Coordinate with customers and partners to create and execute business plans to meet sales goals.
  • Analyse market trends and accordingly develop sales plans to increase brand awareness.
  • Evaluate channel/partner sales performance and recommend improvements.
  • Educate customers about product portfolio and complimentary services offered.
  • Generate and manage sales pipeline, forecast monthly sales and identify new business opportunities.
  • Develop positive working relationship with customers and partners to build business.
  • Stay current with latest developments in marketplace and competitor activities.
  • Communicate up-to-date information about new products and enhancements to partners.
  • Develop process improvements to optimize partner management activities.
  • Work with partners to develop sale proposals, quotations, and pricings.
  • Deliver customer presentations and attend sales meetings and conferences.
  • Assist in partner marketing activities such as tradeshows, campaigns and other promotional activities.

Skills and experience

Skills:

  • Proven sales and negotiation skills
  • Ability to qualify and manage major bids
  • Ability to create Business Case and Return on Investment studies
  • High level of integrity and professionalism
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven interpersonal and presentation skills
  • A Business Studies qualification would be desirable
  • International business experience
  • Flexibility within a highly dynamic and entrepreneurial organisation/industry

Experience:

  • Extensive New Business experience / cold selling.
  • Experience selling to enterprise and channel.
  • Experience of solution selling and working in long sales cycles
  • Experience of sales negotiations and closing deals
  • Self starter with the ability to influence
